iNTELLiBOOK.net

  • Brief description
  • iNTELLiBOOK.net is the Internet Kiosk of Reading, in which can Read before you buy, browsing documents by content and deciding to Buy after you read.
  • Vision, Objectives and Goals
  • From the epoch of the pen to that of the Linotype, we assist to the invention of new and more and more efficient machines to write (e.g. typewriters, word-processors).

Today, in the mass of available digital material, the problem is not to find informations, but to decide what are the bits to deserve our attention. We need a "machine to read".

  • How does ICT contribute to the organisational objectives
  • Every document and intelligent message contains a secret map. An equally intelligent software can be used to decode this map and use it to tag, mark-up, summarise and generate hypertext links.

  • Transferability
  • iNTELLiBOOK.net is such a project that could be done (theoretically) by an individual. Nevertheless, for a serious business, I plan to hire:

    2008

    Employee 1) Italian-English translator

    2009

    Employee 2) Web-designer
    Employee 3) Marketing manager

  • Project summary
  • The iNTELLiBOOK.net Internet Kiosk works thanks to a magic algorithm, able to detect and extract the meaning from any text.

First o all, each text is converted into an hypertext, navigable by different reading-paths. Abstract is generated for each path. Summary is automatically compiled. The document is published and immediately becomes accessible.

No registration. No username & password. Only free browsing.

iNTELLiBOOK.net is a pure-html web site, which can be viewed using PCs, Palmtops or any system equipped with a standard browser.
